Code of Conduct

Rules of conduct

We (the Angular.Schule team) are committed to enabling every participant to attend our events free of discrimination and harassment, regardless of gender, ethnic origin, religion, worldview, disability, age or sexual identity.

Should unwanted behaviour towards participants, team members or staff occur during an event, we will act to make it stop immediately.

By unwanted behaviour we mean any form of harassment or transgression as well as intentionally disruptive behaviour. This includes offensive, discriminatory or sexualised language and imagery in talks, workshops, evening events and in online media. It also includes unwanted physical contact, harassing photography or recordings, and stalking as defined by § 238 of the German Criminal Code (StGB).

If participants become victims of harassment or transgressive behaviour, or witness such behaviour, please contact the Angular.Schule team. We take every such matter very seriously and will decide how to respond appropriately. In such a case we will look after the affected person and decide how to prevent a recurrence. Should the unwanted behaviour not stop, we will exercise our right as event host and, at our discretion, exclude the person or persons responsible from the event. A refund of the ticket price is excluded in that case.
