BLOCK01- Angular CLI
- Components
- Standalone Components
- Template syntax and bindings
- Signals NEW
- Pipes & directives
Components, Signals and bindings
Everything you need for a smooth start
In the first block you'll get to know how an Angular application is structured. We practice working with components, use the Angular CLI and explore Angular's template syntax in depth. We use the new Signals from day one and build data flows between components.

- Agentic coding: Claude Code and the Angular MCP server AI
- Pitfalls with AI-generated code AI
- Dependency injection and services
- Immutability
- Unit and integration tests with Vitest NEW
- Architecture and best practices
BLOCK02Testing, services and agentic coding
Grasp and understand the core Angular concepts
We use the Vitest testing framework to write tests for the application. With services we build central classes that cleanly separate business logic from components. We also take a hands-on look at agentic coding and at the tools Angular offers for AI support.
BLOCK03- Signal Forms NEW
- HTTP communication
- Resource API NEW
- Routing
- Use the official Agent Skills AI
HTTP, routing & forms
Advanced topics for real-world projects
In the third block we cover advanced topics. Angular ships with mature concepts for form handling, and we take a closer look at the newest approach: Signal Forms. Learn how to navigate through your app with the router to move between pages inside the application. You will also connect a server backend via HTTP/REST, using the HttpClient and the Resource API.

- Observables, Observers and Subscriptions
- The most important operators in day-to-day work
- Higher-order Observables
- Interop with Signals NEW
BLOCK04Reactive programming with RxJS
Data flows with Observables
Reactive Extensions for JavaScript (RxJS) are a powerful tool for querying, transforming and combining data streams. We cover the concepts compactly and focus on the places where RxJS actually shows up in day-to-day Angular work.
All participants receive a certificate and a personal copy of our Angular book.

Frequently asked questions
◢ Who is this training for?
Our trainings are suitable for beginners as well as experienced developers. Armed with the Angular knowledge you gain, you'll bring your project safely to success.
◢ What are the prerequisites?
To actively take part you should already have some programming experience. Fundamentals in JavaScript/TypeScript are helpful but not required. In a personal call beforehand, we'll happily assess whether the workshop is a good fit for you. To take part you'll need your own laptop with webcam and microphone. You'll receive a detailed setup guide in advance. If you have any questions about the preparation, we'll support you personally.
◢ Which Angular version do you cover?
We always use the latest version of Angular so that you get to know the newest features. For example, we use the new Signals and Standalone Components consistently throughout the course. Even if your project is on an older version, you'll be able to apply what you've learned immediately.
◢ How much of the course is hands-on?
The course is a mix of theory and practice: together in the workshop we build a sample project through which you'll practise every feature. Each topic is first covered in theory and then implemented in code. Selected exercises are worked on independently in small groups. The code for the sample project is always available on GitHub.
◢ Are there learning materials for the training?
For every topic block we prepare a handout. Our detailed, up-to-date slide decks let you follow every topic comfortably. Of course you'll get all the slides. In addition, we offer optional bonus exercises each day for individual deepening. Every participant also receives a personal copy of our Angular book for follow-up study.
◢ In which format do I receive the Angular book?
You get to choose: either a signed printed copy or the e-book as PDF and EPUB.
◢ Can I ask individual questions?
Yes! For every topic we run open Q&A and discussion sessions. Thanks to our regular project work we can answer many questions first-hand.
◢ Do I have to turn my camera on?
We invite you to join via webcam so that the exchange with the trainer and other participants feels even more direct. Of course this is not mandatory. We respect your decision not to turn on the camera.
◢ I'm an apprentice/pupil/student and I can't afford the ticket.
We love that you want to learn Angular with us. Occasionally, shortly before a workshop, we offer remaining tickets at a heavily discounted price. Please drop us an email. We'll certainly find a good solution.
◢ What are the advantages of an online training?
Home office and remote work are no reason to give up on continuing education and networking: we bring Angular directly to you, with hands-on exercises, quizzes and comprehensive materials. Get in touch with other participants and take the chance to refresh your knowledge.
◢ Which software is used to run the training?
For the video conference we use Zoom (desktop app or browser). Before the workshop we're available for a technology check so you can try out and set up the software at your leisure.
◢ When does the course take place?
The course runs daily from 9:00 to 15:30. Regular coffee breaks and a lunch break are included.
◢ Who are the trainers?
Our trainings are led by the book's authors and Google Developer Experts (GDE) Ferdinand and Johannes. Both trainers work regularly on projects and can share their practical know-how directly. With us you get everything from a single source.
◢ Is the course a recording?
The course takes place live with the registered participants. You can ask individual questions and stay in direct contact with the trainer and other participants. The workshop is not recorded.
◢ In which language is the workshop held?
The workshop is held in German, and all course materials are in German. You are of course welcome to ask your questions in English.
◢ How large are the groups?
We run our online workshops with at most 16 participants. That lets us answer questions at any time and take everyone's needs into account.
◢ Why a 5-day workshop?
Getting started with Angular is a complex topic. Our experience shows the learning process works best when there's enough time to explore topics in depth. Five days of six hours each add up to 30 hours of training: enough room for practical exercises and to cover every topic at an appropriate depth.
◢ I need a quote for the ticket.
You can book the ticket directly on our order page. If you need a detailed quote beforehand, just get in touch.
◢ Do I get a discount when I register several people?
Just send us a short email and we'll gladly put a proposal together for you.
◢ Why us?
We put quality over quantity, and learning success is our top priority. In small groups we can address every question and support all participants individually. You benefit from our experience out of daily project work and the wealth of knowledge collected in our book publication.
